A supermarket in Montemiletto was burglarized overnight. The thieves made off with the safe. The raid was carried out around 2:30 AM. The criminals, after stealing a safe, immediately fled before the arrival of the Carabinieri.
Investigations are underway to try to trace the members of the gang that sprang into action. The military conducted an inspection in search of elements useful for the investigations. The surveillance footage is also being examined. The loot is still to be quantified, but it is significant nonetheless.
