Support for National Monument Status for Benevento's Municipal Theater

The parliamentary group at Montecitorio of Italia Viva (first signatory Roberto Giachetti) and Pino Bicchielli (Noi Moderati), "bound by historic and consolidated relations of friendship and political collaboration with the mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella", as stated by Palazzo Mosti in a note, have submitted to the Chamber the amendment for the inclusion of the Municipal Theater of Benevento in the list of those that will receive the status of national monument. "I thank the friends of Iv and the friend Pino Bicchielli", Mastella commented, "for this concrete and tangible act of political and institutional sensitivity shown towards the city of Benevento and towards one of its most fascinating and significant historical assets: the reopening of the terms for the submission of amendments will allow to achieve an important result and to give the Municipal Theater a recognition it widely deserves. The contribution of other political forces in the same direction is equally welcome: the objective, in this case, is common because it will benefit the City of Benevento."
