Suspension of Bus Services Between Benevento and Naples Discussed in Meeting

"I had a meeting with the regional councilor delegate for Transport, Luca Cascone, to whom I expressed the widespread concerns about the suspension of the bus services from Benevento to Naples (13.15) and Naples to Benevento (16.15) by Mott.am srl. The services will resume from the first of February, thanks to the financial intervention of the Region: I therefore thank the regional government and the president's delegate Vincenzo De Luca's representative Luca Cascone for the institutional sensitivity shown." This was announced by the mayor of Benevento, Clemente Mastella. "With Councilor Cascone we agreed that the connection between the city and the regional capital, vital for many commuters and fundamental from a social, economic and tourist point of view, could not be further weakened by the cancellation of these bus services that have represented over the years a valid and appreciated solution for numerous commuters. Delegate Cascone, shared the fears I expressed to him and thanks to this immediate operational intervention the matter will be resolved for the better: from the first of February we will be able to have this important form of road connection with Naples again", concludes Mastella.
