Sustainable Tourism Development through Transportation to Vesuvian Archaeological Sites and the Sorrento Peninsula

Transportation for sustainable tourism development towards the Vesuvian archaeological complexes and the Sorrento Peninsula: it will be discussed on Friday, March 15th in Massa Lubrense, at the Villa Angelina resort, in a seminar on the theme: "Territorial development and sustainability from the archaeological sites of Grande Pompei to the Sorrento Peninsula: maritime transport, integrated mobility, and environmental management of resources." The event is organized by the Order of Engineers of Naples, chaired by Gennaro Annunziata, in collaboration with the Association of Engineers of the Sorrento Peninsula (Aips). The seminar is sponsored by the Order of Architects of Naples, the Municipalities of the Sorrento Peninsula and Pompeii, the Department of Structures of the Federico II University, Confindustria Napoli, and the District 2101 of Campania of Rotary International. The event, as explained by the organizers, will analyze - in a discussion among institutions, companies, professionals - the critical issues, opportunities, and project proposals to be seized for the sustainable development of one of the most important archaeological, landscape, and tourist areas in the world. Among other things, there will be talks about integrated maritime transport with land mobility, environmental impact, alternative energies, and their management.
