Dozens of white taxis gathered overnight in front of the Naples police headquarters to denounce the ongoing assaults the category faces from unauthorized individuals. The latest episode occurred just last night with the arrival of a flight at Capodichino airport. The symbolic protest aimed to highlight a phenomenon that regularly occurs, the taxi drivers report, both near the airport and the central station of Naples as well as the hydrofoil and ferry embarkation points, all places where unauthorized individuals are massively present, often aggressively snatching customers from licensed taxi drivers.
