Temporary Traffic Measures in Piazza del Gesù

On the occasion of the 'Je Sto Vicino a Te Forever' event in Piazza del Gesù, the municipality of Naples has implemented a temporary traffic device that will be in effect from Monday, March 17 to Thursday, March 20. In particular, in Piazza del Gesù, a vehicle transit ban is established, excluding rescue and emergency vehicles, law enforcement vehicles, and those serving Civil Protection, as well as vehicles of entitled residents, who are allowed access via Via Domenico Capitelli and Via Cisterna dell'Olio through Calata Trinità Maggiore and Piazza del Gesù, the latter traversed keeping the Immaculate Obelisk on the right side of the direction of travel. A stop and parking ban with enforced removal is also established. Areas reserved for non-line public transport (taxis), for the disabled (generic and personalized), and for loading and unloading of goods are suspended. Allow vehicles of disabled persons, whose reserved stalls (generic and personalized) have been suspended as reported in the previous point b2, to park in the area reserved for public service vehicles (taxis), suspended at the previous point b1. Additionally, on Via Monteoliveto, near the confluence with Calata Trinità Maggiore, and precisely in front of the Faculty of Architecture of the 'Federico II' University of Naples, there is an obligation to suspend the areas reserved for regulated paid parking (blue stripes), placed parallel to the sidewalk. Allow non-line public service vehicles (taxis), whose reserved stalls have been suspended as reported in the previous point b.1, to park in the area reserved for paid parking (blue stripes), suspended at the previous point d. In Via Monteoliveto, relocate, near the Faculty of Architecture, the BUS stop present in Piazza del Gesù. The stop for boarding/alighting will take place with the assistance of the Municipal Police.
