Tensions Ahead of Barcelona vs Napoli Champions League Match

Minutes of tension in the Montjuic area just before Barcelona-Napoli, a Champions League match taking place this evening at the Lluis Companys stadium for the return of the round of 16. The fanbases almost came into contact during the procession that led the Napoli ultras from the city center to the hill hosting the stadium. Some Catalan fans indeed tried to break through the corridor created by the local 'mossos' in Barcelona, a few minutes of panic for all parties involved with also the throwing of firecrackers which, however, fortunately did not cause any problems. Another inconvenience, however, occurred outside the Olympic Stadium at the time of the arrival of the Napoli fans in the visitor's section: the approximately 2600 expected fans were poorly repelled by the police due to access difficulties, with the gates of the passage closed without concern for those present. Some Neapolitans had indeed tried to force the cordon even without a ticket. The situation was resolved with the help of stewards engaged in the order service.
