The Call for a New Left: Luigi de Magistris' Vision

Luigi de Magistris arrives in bookstores. The former mayor of Naples will present his new book "Desire for the Left" at Feltrinelli in Piazza dei Martiri on March 19 at 6:00 PM. A pacifist and internationalist left, that gives a voice to the voiceless and always stands on the side of the oppressed, never the oppressors. As mayor of Naples, Luigi De Magistris has shown that this other left can exist, and can govern with courage while remaining outside the system. And only a left like this can lead a cultural, peaceful, non-violent revolution, built on law and humanism and never on hate. With Desire for the Left, De Magistris exposes his political ideas to all readers in a simple and direct way: it results in an extremely useful tool to navigate the present and to draw a direction for future political battles.
