Just under two weeks after the confiscation verdict of the Castle of Ceremonies, Emma Acampora, a long-time employee and spokesperson for all her colleagues, speaks out again, trying to clarify the situation.
«Since last week's protest march, not much has changed, the mayor of Sant'Antonio Abate reassured us, but since then we have not made any progress, we are still waiting for a response from the institutions and above all certainties for us employees».
Despite the concerns, however, it seems that the Castle continues to host dream weddings: «The events continue as normal - Emma states - it seems paradoxical but the clients trust us and when they enter, despite the difficult moment, they breathe the same atmosphere as always. These are events that we planned up to two years ago, but their trust gives us courage, it makes us understand that we are fighting for a specific reason. The problem is that we employees are in limbo, the institutions should give us certainties immediately, we need serenity and continuity in the activity. Stopping is unthinkable»
Thus continues Emma, also spending a few words on the great support received: «We are receiving many shows of solidarity, we are extremely grateful to those who support us, however, what we really need is an answer. We believe in the institutions, alone we are small, but hope guides us. We do not ask for the moon, just a concrete answer that protects our future»
