The Guido Carli Award: Celebrating Italian Excellence in Various Fields

An extraordinary edition, like the moral and cultural legacy of the statesman who was Governor of the Bank of Italy, Minister of the Treasury, and Senator of the Republic. 'The magic of the celebration of Italian excellence is renewed,' explains Romana Liuzzo, President of the Guido Carli Foundation, 'which this year will see a truly exceptional group of awardees: twelve realities that express the best of our country. We will celebrate ingenuity and creativity, passion and generosity, taste and elegance. All the qualities that we know how to give to the world, lighting torches of hope even in complex moments like the one we are living. It is the lesson of Carli: my grandfather had faith in merit, he considered it the key factor to overcome difficulties, fight inequalities and regenerate Italy. For this reason, on stage will alternate women and men who excite. Through their successes and their attention to the least, we will offer powerful models to the new generations.' This year's ceremony will have a special guise, while still following tradition. In addition to the history of the great Italian entrepreneurial families and the social commitment to inclusion and dignity through work, directing, cinema, fashion, and food will be in the foreground. On stage, there will also be a live performance by Alessio Mininni, in art Maninni: directly from Sanremo with his 'Spectacular.' The event will be opened by Liuzzo, who is the creator of the Award. After the interventions of the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, and the Minister for European Affairs, the South, Cohesion Policies, and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Raffaele Fitto, the evening will start with the hosting of the journalist Veronica Gentili.
