The 'Other Italy - Award-winning Lives' Prize: Celebrating Dignity and Credibility across Fields

The events related to the 'Other Italy - Award-winning Lives' Prize will take place on April 5, 6, and 7, effectively opening the new tourist season of Baia Domizia. Now in its twelfth edition, the award is organized by entrepreneur Gaetano Cerrito and takes place under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture. This edition also aims to highlight and recognize the work of those who fight and work to ensure dignity and credibility for the South and the whole of Italy, particularly in the fields of scientific research, solidarity and ethics, politics and institutions, culture, tourism, entrepreneurship, sports, communication, cinema, and entertainment. The new edition will be presented on Friday at 11 am at the Southern Culture Institute, in Via Chiatamone in Naples, with the presence of Professor Annamaria Colao and journalist Marilicia Salvia - respectively the godmother and president of the Prize - the president of the hosting Institute Gennaro Famiglietti, and the creator and artistic-organizational director of the Prize, Gaetano Cerrito. The event will be hosted by Magda Mancuso. The Jury President is Dr. Giovanna Caridei. A real driving force for qualified tourist development of Baia Domizia, over the years the Prize has been awarded to prestigious personalities, brought to the seaside resort of Caserta for the award ceremony: from artists like Giovanni Allevi to directors like Giulio Base and Rossella Izzo, from economists like Paolo Savona to scientists like Alberto Mantovani, Paolo Strolin, and Elena Cattaneo, from actors like Paolo Conticini, Eleonora Giorgi, and Barbara Bouchet to sports champions like Gianni Rivera and the Abbagnale brothers, the event's golden book contains - and will continue to contain - the signatures of the country's finest history.
