A true success. In numbers and in content. Emotions, titles, dreams and lots of fun. These are the ingredients that characterized the third edition of Fight 4 Naples. The event held at Palabarbuto, organized by the sports association Pro Fighting Napoli Club and the company Mosaiko Enterprise, ended in the best possible way. The choice to mix martial arts and entertainment was a real winner: a wise formula that attracted the attention of 400 spectators in the Fuorigrotta sports hall. The matches on the ring were exciting, and did not disappoint the expectations of the eve. And then the format so conceived turned into a showcase for young Campanian athletes and those from all over Italy. Not to mention the show and musical performances.
Notable victories for Salvatore Attrattivo and Raffaele Manzo in boxing. A different fate befell Marco De Falco. Despite a great match, the challenger failed to snatch the Italian K-1 champion title from Cano Perez. Great celebration, however, for Daniele Iodice: the holder beat Aron Capuccini, keeping the precious belt. "I dedicate this victory to my family and my coaches. I want to tell all the boys: choose the difficult path, the easy one is just an illusion and can lead you in the wrong direction", declared Iodice at the end of the race.
The initiative was sponsored by Palazzo San Giacomo, by Federkombat and by the Italian boxing federation. "In Naples there are no minor sports and F4N has proved it. The PalaBarbuto, welcoming from all over Italy the fans of combat sports, has proved to be the home of sports events and entertainment and to bring good to Campanian athletes: Iodice has confirmed himself champion of Italy and the 19-year-old Neapolitan Attrattivo has won", emphasized Emanuela Ferrante, councilor for Sport and Equal Opportunities. "Sport as inclusion, entertainment, fun is our goal to reach 2026 as an example of European capital", reiterated the Five Star member of the Manfredi Council.
Testimonial of the event the boxing champion Domenico Valentino. "I am very happy to have intervened and to have participated in this beautiful event, a showcase for sports which are often not given the right visibility", asserted the 1984-born Marcianise champion. "To the boys present and to those who have stepped into the ring I allow myself to give a piece of advice: never stop dreaming and working so that your dreams come true. Always believe in yourself", added Domenico Valentino.
Luca Donadio, one of the promoters of the event together with Guglielmo Esposito, expressed great satisfaction. "We are happy to have brought F4N to the PalaBarbuto. The atmosphere was very hot and the boys were thrilled to be able to measure themselves at home, in front of their supporters", Donadio wanted to clarify. "We are satisfied with the work done and to have brought to Naples for the first time an event of this kind".
Among friends. "It was essential to organize the F4N in Naples, so as not to 'force' our athletes to always go and fight outside the region", explained Decio Pasqua, coach and federal councilor of the Federkombat. "This also gave the public the opportunity to watch such disciplines live and perhaps to become fond of them. Congratulations to the athletes who prepared well for the fights", concluded Pasqua.
