Thieves Arrested After Stealing from Wind Tre Repeater in Casaluce

Two young individuals were intercepted and stopped by the Carabinieri of the Teverola station just after committing a theft at the Wind Tre company's repeater in Casaluce. The presence of two young people tampering near the repeater of the mentioned telephone company was reported by a citizen with a phone call to the local station. When the military of the Arma arrived on the scene, the thieves had just escaped aboard a black Fiat Punto. The search was immediately activated, and the fugitives, a 33-year-old and a 25-year-old, both from Giugliano in Campania, were intercepted and blocked on Via Roma, in the municipality of Teverola. Inside the car, the Carabinieri found and seized 3 radio modules and copper cables that had just been stolen. The burglary tools used to commit the theft and the vehicle used for the escape were also seized. The damage, referred only to the damage of the site, quantified by the technician of the wind-tre company to whom the radio modules were returned, amounts to over 2000 euros. The arrested, awaiting the direct trial, were taken to house arrest at their respective homes of residence.
