Confindustria Benevento, within the framework of the programmatic activities of the "Tourism and Leisure" section, has organized a conference for March 21 at 3:30 PM at Palazzo Paolo V titled "Tourism, Territory and Health: Made in Sannio. A Land of Excellences to Discover, Protect, and Enhance. New Perspectives for Tourism in Sannio."
The conference will discuss the opportunities for progress and sustainable development within the sector, the creation of business networks and "destination management organisations" as a strategy to prepare Sannio for the national and international markets.
After the greetings from Nino Lombardi, president of the Province, and the mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella, Teresa Romano, president of the Tourism and Leisure Section of Confindustria Benevento, will introduce the proceedings. Speakers include Vincenzo De Novellis, geophysicist and Researcher at Irea; Rosario De Iulio, professor of Geography and Strategic Design of Tourist Spaces; Gianluca Carrabs, expert in the Economics of Food Resources and the Environment; Danila Carlucci (Italian Academy of Cuisine, delegate of Benevento); Maria Grazia Ferrucci (San Pio Hospital Benevento); Antonio Limone (General Director of the Zooprofilattico Experimental Institute of the South).
The conclusions will be entrusted to Oreste Vigorito, president of Confindustria Benevento, and Felice Casucci, regional councilor for Tourism. The event will be hosted by Paolo Notari (Rai).
