Tourist's iPhone Stolen and Recovered by Local Police in Naples

The officers of the Local Police Operational Unit Chiaia on duty were approached in Piazza del Plebiscito by a tourist who reported having just had his smartphone, an iPhone model, stolen from the back pocket of his pants. The Municipal police activated the 'Find My iPhone' feature for the victim and geolocated the cell phone near the Molo Beverello. Upon arrival, they noticed two individuals at the bus stop and identified the thief. The thief was subsequently apprehended and taken to the offices of the U.O. for the customary procedures, after which, on the indication of the Public Prosecutor on duty, he was reported on free foot. The cell phone was returned to the tourist.
