Accident in the countryside of Ariano Irpino. A 56-year-old local man was injured. It happened this afternoon in Contrada Stratola. For reasons still under investigation, the man lost control of the tractor which overturned, trapping him underneath the agricultural vehicle.
Local police officers from the nearby station intervened at the scene and, with the help of some citizens, rescued the unfortunate man, freeing him from the agricultural machine. The 56-year-old was transported by emergency medical services to the emergency room of the "Frangipane" hospital in Ariano Irpino.
