Tragic workplace accident in Irpinia.
The tragedy unfolded in a pharmaceutical warehouse in Monteforte Irpino. A 35-year-old man from Contrada lost his life. According to an initial reconstruction, the 35-year-old, a warehouse worker at the same facility, lost his balance and fell to the ground while retrieving material from a shelf about 3 meters high, for reasons still under investigation.
Medical personnel from the 118 and the Carabinieri from the Baiano Company intervened on the spot. On the orders of the judicial authority, the body was transferred to the Moscati hospital in Avellino.
