Starting tomorrow, at the Campania Region Auditorium on Isola C3 of the Centro Direzionale, the training courses for managers, officials, and public employees involved in the National Civil Protection Service and school institutions on bradyseismic and volcanic risk at the Phlegraean Fields will begin.
The activity, involving teachers from the Civil Protection Department of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, INGV, the Civil Protection of the Campania Region, and the municipalities involved, is part of the Communication Plan approved by the Regional Council resolution 679 of last November 23 following the Legislative Decree 140 of October 12, 2023.
The training activity will focus on in-depth technical aspects. Eight topics will be covered: the National Civil Protection Service and the regional system, scientific aspects related to volcanic phenomena, the National Phlegraean Fields Plan for volcanic risk, operational phases for volcanic risk planning, municipal planning for volcanic risk, Legislative Decree 140, the Communication Plan and correct behaviors, the Expedited Emergency Plan for bradyseismic risk.
The training courses aim to prepare public officials to promote the dissemination of knowledge on measures connected to Civil Protection planning.
The course runs parallel to the one for volunteers that started last March 23 and has already scheduled its second edition for next April 6, again at the Auditorium of the Centro Direzionale.
