The Flora Maisto nursery and the Green Gazebo committee associations, Gea ets and Vomero civic committee have donated a tree of the tilia cordata species to the park of Villa Floridiana.
Dr. Ilenia Gradante, the officer in charge of the Duke of Martina museum, invited the students to name the tree and everyone in unison: Geolier.
Over 150 students involved in a playful - educational path, in joy and with interest, accompanied by the team of Zebby animation and the Naples from top to bottom association, a path that then concluded with a spectacular treeclimbing pruning exhibition, curated by Rami srl, which illustrated, on a plane tree in the park, a professional technique that allows pruning and cutting in a safe, quick and ecological way, minimizing damage to the tree structure and whose skill and sympathy won over the kids.
In the presence of local institutions and associations, the participating schools were awarded with low-stem essences, kindly offered by the plastic free association, which will then be subsequently planted by the committees and associations Green Gazebo, Gea e.t.s and Vomero civic committee.
The plants were donated to the boys and girls of the middle schools so that they take care of them and can thus develop a greater awareness of environmental protection.
