Trial for Diego Maradona's Death to Begin in Argentina

The trial concerning the death of Diego Armando Maradona will begin on June 4 in Argentina, following his death on November 25, 2020. This has been ordered by judges Veronica Di Tommaso, Maximiliano Savarino, and Julieta Makintach. There are eight suspects among doctors and nurses - those who were supposed to assist the Pibe after his head surgery on November 3 - who face between 8 to 25 years in prison. The suspects include neurosurgeon Leopoldo Luque, psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov, psychologist Carlos Angel Diaz, medical coordinator Nancy Edith Forlini, nursing coordinator Mariano Ariel Perroni, nurse Ricardo Omar Almiron, nurse Dahiana Gisela Madrid, and doctor Pedro Pablo Di Spagna.
