The Napoli player left the field at the 110th minute of the Georgia-Greece match, valid for the Euro 2024 qualification: after a forward sprint - yet another in his game -, Kvara collapsed to the ground on his own, noticeably touching his groin. The Georgian from Napoli immediately called the attention of his teammates and the referee, then turning towards the bench and asking for a substitution.
It remains to be seen what the real extent of the injury is for the Napoli player, who is expected tomorrow morning at Castel Volturno: he will be evaluated by the Napoli medical staff before Saturday's match against Atalanta at Maradona.
In the meantime, however, his Georgia goes to the Euros: the national team got the better of Greece after 120 minutes of battle and penalty kicks: from the spot - without Kvara - they win 4-2 and qualify for their first historic international competition.
