A truck collided with the barriers of a level crossing: rail traffic along a section of the Circumvesuviana has been interrupted. This was announced by EAV, which in a statement reported that 'due to a truck hitting the barriers of a level crossing, circulation on the Poggiomarino-Scafati stretch is temporarily suspended'. The hitting of a level crossing barrier is the forced detachment or breaking of the barrier from the control box by a vehicle, causing the cutting of an electric circuit cable and resulting in the loss of control of the closed level crossing.
