Uncertainty over the Location of Interurban Bus Stops in Benevento

"Where will the interurban buses stop in Benevento? As of today, there is no answer to this question, which is of interest to many, including students, commuters, drivers, and citizens. It is serious that there is no answer when the announcement for the start of work that will also affect Piazzale Venanzio Vari, the current bus terminal, is about to be published." The Pd council group at Palazzo Mosti intervenes on this issue. The opposition members recall: "There was talk of various arrangements: the Coni headquarters area and other hypotheses. It was said that the detailed plan would have been presented in the Productive Activities commission, something that has not happened to date. Therefore, those who need to organize their activities based on where the interurban buses arrive and depart from are left in the dark, suspended in the usual approximation of this administration." For the Pd, "It is serious to leave a question that not only touches the needs of commuters, but also those of many citizens, unresolved: it is clear that such a choice must be carefully considered because it could affect traffic in the city and also the fine dust pollution that the administration claims to want to fight. For us, the best solution would have been the redevelopment of the current terminal, left in total neglect. In any case, given the importance of the issue, we ask that the councilor come to the commission as soon as possible to explain the situation."
