An attempt to vandalize a mural by Jorit, at the center of controversy after a photo with Putin, was carried out overnight in Ischia. The artist himself reported this to Ansa. Unknown individuals threw white paint against the mural and hung a Ukrainian flag on an adjacent balustrade. The mural - created in May 2022 - is located outside the Buchner state high school. The controversies of the last few hours have involved the Neapolitan street artist who, on Wednesday evening, had taken the international scene at the Youth Festival in Russia by asking for a photo with Vladimir Putin, present at the event. A choice that did not go unnoticed for a shot that then immediately went viral online and on social media. Ciro Cerullo - this is Jorit's real name - received many criticisms, even from his own fans, for the choice made in Sochi next to the number one of the Kremlin.
