Vehicle Access Restrictions Imposed on Ischia Island

The Prefecture of Naples has announced that the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has ordered a ban on the influx and circulation of motor vehicles, motorcycles, and mopeds on the island of Ischia starting from next March 29. The ban is in addition to those already imposed on the island of Capri, starting from March 30, 2024, and Procida, starting from March 23, 2024. The decrees provide the possibility, "in case of proven and real necessity and urgency", for the Prefect of Naples to grant further landing authorizations not exceeding 48 hours of stay on the island.
