The Cultural Association 'LartesifàMadre' presents the Vesuvian Artistic Collective in 'He is Still Alive - The Passion', a show of music, theater, and dance focused on the historical narrative of the Passion of Christ, through the eyes and emotions of two different characters: that of the apostle Peter (played by actor Ivan Piccolo) and that of Claudia Procula, wife of Pontius Pilate (played by actress Francesca Morgante). Everything originates from the dream of Claudia Procula and the words reported in the Gospel of Matthew (27:19) 'Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered much today in a dream because of him.' Claudia, disturbed by that dream, questions Pilate about the choice he is about to make in the extreme attempt to 'save the righteous'. Peter, on the other hand, through his repentance, finds the strength to be reborn and to dedicate his life and testimony to humanity. Both emphasize the role and responsibility of all humanity in the face of such a condemnation. What could be done to save the righteous? A preview with a promotional video will anticipate the show on the social channels of the Vesuvian Artistic Collective. The trailer has been exclusively made in two places of historical charm: the Amphitheater of Avella (courtesy of the Ministry of Culture - Soprintendenza Abap for the provinces of Salerno and Avellino) and the Early Christian Basilical Complex of Cimitile (courtesy of the Municipal Administration of Cimitile). Theatrical texts written by Fulvia Serpico, Michele Buonocore, Debora Sacco, and Ivan Piccolo. Songs: lyrics and music by the Neapolitan singer-songwriter Mikele Buonocore. Production: Cultural Association L'Arte si fa Madre. Arrangements and direction of the Vesuvian Artistic Collective. The project will also have the extraordinary participation of Caterina Potrandolfo, singer of the traditional Lucanian folk music, who will propose the Passion Song of Stigliano 'All'aria, all'aria fatila passare' and the dancers, Lucia Viglietti and Marco Protano, who will perform in a performance inspired by two works of art from the Neapolitan artistic heritage: the piety of Annibale Carracci (oil on canvas, ca. 1600, preserved at the Museum of Capodimonte) and the 'Resurrection of Christ' by Luca Giordano (oil on canvas, 1660-1665 circa, preserved at the Mother Church of Buonconsiglio, Naples). The show will take place on Thursday, March 28, 19 at the Teatro Instabile in Naples, directed by Gianni Sallustro in vico del Fico al Purgatorio, 36.
