Yesterday, in section Bdx, an inmate, under the pretext of needing to make a phone call, deceitfully attacked the chief coordinating prison police assistant who had opened the cell door for him, hitting him first with a slap in the face, then with kicks to the abdomen, and finally throwing him to the ground, continuing to hit him with punches to the face and body.
Thanks to the intervention of two working inmates - Guacci recounts - who immediately stopped the aggressor, the worst was avoided, until the arrival of supporting police officers who then took him to the General Surveillance offices: but even here, despite the doctor's intervention, the man attempted to assault the officers several times and only later, with no small effort given his continuous resistance, was it possible to bring him back to his own cell.
