The Municipality of Vitulano has presented to the State Council the act of renunciation of the dispute against the Province on the route of the 'Fondo Valle Vitulanese'.
The closure of the dispute is imminent, with the consequent start of the completion works, which were contested in 2023 before the Campania Regional Administrative Court due to 'interferences' with a rural area where the prestigious 'Bue Apis' vine is planted.
The same Municipality's decision to discontinue the dispute was motivated by the agreement reached on February 21st between the Region, Acamir, Province, the Municipality itself, and the contracting company Consorzio Stabile Artemide regarding the modification of the originally planned route.
While waiting for the final pronouncement of the supreme administrative justice authority, the president of the Province, Nino Lombardi, comments: 'A great team effort has been made to achieve this result. In order to accommodate the issues and requests coming from the territory, the Province's technicians studied the most suitable solution, which was then discussed with the Campania Region as well as with the Municipality of Vitulano itself.'
