This is the advice from the mayor of Benevento, Clemente Mastella, who writes in a note: «With reference to the water supply interruption starting on Friday, March 15 at 4 PM, lasting about 48 hours, and affecting half of our city, I invite all affected citizens to be patient, despite the great sacrifice, and to stock up on water in the days before Friday to avoid potential problems of early interruption of the water supply, caused by excessive consumption by everyone on Friday».
As for the citizens not affected by the water interruption, Mastella's invitation is «to be careful to use water moderately in order to avoid further problems even in their areas. As you well know - the mayor reminds -, this interruption is due to the ongoing works by the State Railways for the construction of the High-Speed Naples-Bari line, a very important project for our territory. Therefore, this will be the first of three water interruptions planned during the year for the relocation of the Biferno pipeline segments that interfere with the new section under construction of the high-speed line.
