Water Supply Disruption Plan Due to Railway Construction Works

Gesesa has presented a plan to mitigate inconveniences during the days when water supply will be suspended due to construction works for the new high-speed railway line Naples–Bari. Specifically, from 4 PM on Friday, March 15th to 4 PM on Sunday, March 17th, subject to unforeseen circumstances. The affected areas are: Capodimonte and the area of Ponte Valentino (including Asi) up to contrada Saglieta; zona Cancelleria, Coluonni, San Cumano, and Piano Cappelle; northern contrade (Francavilla, Bonavita, Lammia, Caprarelle, Imperatore, Roseto, Murata, San Chirico, San Domenico, Acquafredda, Cardoni, Ciofani, Capoiazzo, Corvacchini, Camerelle, Pestecchia, Piano Borea, San Francesco, Spezzacatene, Sponsilli, and Olmeri); zona Torre Palazzo, San Vitale, Contrada Olivola, and Sant’Angelo a Piesco; zona San Liberatore and Monteguardia. Furthermore, there will be no water supply in via Avellino and its side streets, via Perasso and its side streets, piazza Risorgimento and its side streets, via Pertini, via Mustilli, viale dei Rettori and its side streets, via Colle Vaccino up to the roundabout of San Pasquale and its side streets, piazza Castello and the upper part of corso Garibaldi (up to piazza Federico Torre, via Annunziata from Rocca dei Rettori to Via Rampa Annunziata (included), piazza Arechi II and its side streets, piazza Piano di Corte (right side towards Sant’Agostino), piazza Vari, via Schipa; viale Atlantici and its side streets, viale Mellusi and its side streets, via Calandra and its side streets, via Nenni and its side streets, via Bucciano and its side streets, via Meomartini and its side streets up to Cretarossa, including; Pacevecchia (the entire area), via F. Rosselli and its side streets, via Cifaldi and its side streets, via Paolella, viale Moro and its side streets, via Gramsci and its side streets, via Pacevecchia and its side streets, up to contrada Ponte delle Tavole, included. To ensure water supply, a substitute service of water tankers for potable use will be provided as follows: a fixed station in piazza Risorgimento area Mercato from 4 PM on March 15th to 4 PM on Sunday, March 17th; a fixed station in via Rossi (area Via Avellino) with the same timings; in the parking lot in front of the church of San Giuseppe Moscati in Capodimonte; in via Gramsci in Pacevecchia, same days and hours. Additionally, 2 water tankers, upon request, will supply sensitive users. For the Municipality of Ponte, which will experience the interruption during the same days and hours as Benevento (except Asi, zona Piana, via San Dionigi, and via Francigena), a water tanker will be available near the municipal sports field for the entire necessary duration. In Melizzano, no issues for the Torello area, with water supply suspended from 4 PM on March 15th to 4 PM on March 17th. A substitute service using a fixed station of a water tanker, certified for potable use, will be installed near the municipal headquarters. In Frasso Telesino, in case the emergency extends or unforeseen circumstances occur due to abnormal consumption and/or reduction of the Alto Calore supply, a potential night-time closure during the service disruption period of the Biferno (from 4 PM on March 15th to 4 PM on March 17th) will be considered.
