The weather alert for the Sannio region will not end this evening: the regional Civil Protection has in fact communicated that the situation will continue until midnight tomorrow, and the mayor of Benevento, Clemente Mastella, has issued a new warning for adverse weather conditions, since precipitation is expected, even of a shower or thunderstorm nature, locally of moderate intensity.
The mayor reiterated the invitation to avoid basement or ground floor rooms, mainly if along road axes affected by large water outflows and in any case to constantly monitor the level of runoff water. In case of flooding, immediately disconnect the electricity; utmost attention also to crossing underpasses by car and in general to hydrogeological risk sites (slopes and slopes for possible landslides and landslides) and hydraulic (underpasses and sewer collector areas for possible flooding).
Finally, the call to observe particular caution in movements, limiting them to what is strictly necessary. The weather conditions, the mayor informs, will be constantly monitored in order to evaluate the adoption of further measures.
