Words and Music on Volcanic Soil: A Cultural Encounter at Villa Bruno

On Saturday, March 16th, at 6 PM at the library of Villa Bruno in San Giorgio a Cremano, there will be a new event titled “Words and music on volcanic soil - Meetings between literature, poetry, art, and music organized by the cultural association Altanur. The meeting on Saturday will give space to a special woman, Marisa Papa Ruggiero, who has made research and experimentation her reason for living. A painter and writer, Marisa Papa Ruggiero has dedicated her life to poetic research on language, combining it with painting and teaching activities, first in Milan, then in Naples where she currently lives. She is a co-founder of three literary research magazines, and since 1990, she has published a series of poetic works that have also been translated into English and French, and some of her poetic texts have been performed as scenic events in deeply evocative archaeological sites like Cuma, Bacoli, Siracusa, and of course, Naples. The meeting will be introduced by the mayor of San Giorgio a Cremano, Giorgio Zinno; Filippo D’Eliso, a composer and writer, will moderate.
