More bad weather over Campania and the yellow alert issued by the regional Civil Protection, starting from 12 noon tomorrow March 27 and until the same time on March 28 has led Mayor Clemente Mastella to issue an advisory for adverse weather conditions; particularly for Sannio, scattered precipitation is expected, including showers or isolated thunderstorms.
The mayor thus urges to avoid frequenting basements or ground floor locations, mainly if along roads notoriously affected by large water runoffs, and to constantly monitor the level of runoff water; to immediately disconnect the electricity in case of flooding; proceed with great caution, if it is necessary to drive through an underpass, and to report any issues to emergency numbers 112, 113, 115.
The advisory also invites to pay the utmost attention to sites already indicated for hydrogeological (slopes and hillsides for possible landslides) and hydraulic risk (underpasses and sewer collector areas for possible flooding), and to observe particular caution in movements, limiting them to what is strictly necessary.
