Yellow Level Weather Alert for Rain and Storms Issued Across Campania

The Civil Protection of the region, considering the assessments of the functional center, has issued a yellow level weather alert for rain and storms valid from midnight until 23:59 tomorrow, Friday, April 19th across all of Campania. Local or scattered precipitation is expected, also with the character of intense storms. Attention must be paid to the hydrogeological risk: possible flooding, rising hydrological levels of watercourses, water flow on roadways, runoff with material transport, rockfalls, and landslides due to fragile conditions of the territory are reported. Municipalities are reminded to activate the Municipal Operational Centers (COC) and to implement all measures aimed at preventing, combating, and mitigating the expected phenomena, in line with their respective municipal civil protection plans. Following the weather alert with a 'yellow' level of criticality, issued by the regional Civil Protection for tomorrow, Friday, April 19, the Municipality has ordered the closure of city parks for the entire day.
