Yellow Weather Alert in Campania for Rain and Thunderstorms

There is a yellow weather alert in Campania for rain and thunderstorms from 8 pm today, Sunday, March 3, until 8 pm tomorrow, Monday, March 4. This was announced by the Civil Protection of the Campania Region. Throughout the regional territory, precipitation is still expected, even with intense downpours or thunderstorms. Among the main consequences of the impact on the ground of the precipitation, possible flooding, rising hydrographic levels of watercourses, water flow on roadways, runoff with material transport, rockfalls, and landslides are reported. Due to the saturation of the soils caused by the rains that have already occurred and the hydrogeological fragility of some territories, landslide phenomena and rockfalls are possible even in the absence of new precipitation.
