The Civil Protection of the Region has issued a Yellow weather warning for rain and thunderstorms valid from 9 to 23.59 tomorrow, Saturday, February 10, over all of Campania.
"Scattered precipitation, locally of moderate intensity, also in the form of showers or thunderstorms. Strong southern winds with possible gusts. Rough sea, especially along the coasts exposed to the winds" are expected.
Attention must be paid to the hydrogeological risk: among the main consequences of the impact of precipitation on the ground are floods, rising water levels in rivers, water flow on roads, runoff with material transport, falling rocks and landslides.
In view of the strong wind, the utmost attention is recommended to ensure the correct maintenance of public green areas as well as mobile and temporary structures.
The municipalities are reminded to activate the Coc (Municipal Operational Centers) and to implement all measures to prevent, combat and mitigate the expected phenomena, in line with their respective municipal civil protection plans.
