Yellow Weather Alert Issued for Campania Region Due to Rain and Storms

The Civil Protection of the Campania Region has issued a yellow level weather alert for rain and storms valid from 8 PM today, Sunday, March 10, until 8 PM tomorrow, Monday, March 11. Intense precipitation is expected throughout the regional territory, including downpours or thunderstorms. Attention must be paid to the hydrogeological risk: among the main consequences of the impact on the ground of the precipitation are possible flooding, rising levels of watercourses, water flow on roads, runoff with material transport, falling rocks, and landslides.
