The Young Accountants Union of North Naples has signed a research contract with the Politecnico di Milano, aimed at analyzing the use of digital technologies within the organizational and business models of the professional firms in the territory. The agreement - which includes the association's participation in the “Professional and Digital Innovation Observatory” - highlights the growing importance of integrating new technologies into professional services, aiming to improve efficiency and innovation in the sector. The Young Accountants Union of North Naples, based in Aversa, has identified the Politecnico di Milano as an ideal partner to lead this initiative.

Thanks to this collaboration, an investigation and study of the current use of technologies and AI in the professional firms in the district will be launched. The Politecnico di Milano will contribute with its expertise in providing data, research and specialized consulting, while the Young Accountants Union of North Naples will coordinate direct interaction with the local accounting firms.

This collaboration represents the first brick of the newly constituted “Observatory on the digitalization of professions” introduced as a strategic tool by the Ugdcec Napoli Nord board for the three-year period 2023-2026. The coordinator, Nicola de Chiara, states that «AI is rapidly transforming multiple sectors, including professional ones. The role of the Observatory is to identify solutions to support the activity of accountants to strengthen their role and not to be found unprepared or unprovided for». «This partnership marks a significant step towards innovation and modernization of our sector», says Giancarlo Falco, president of the Ugdcec Napoli Nord. "We believe that the responsible adoption of advanced technologies, including AI, can bring significant benefits to our members and the businesses we support. We are excited to work with the Politecnico di Milano, an institution of excellence in the field of technology". The agreement also provides for the organization of events, workshops and joint conferences to share best practices and provide specialized training to interested professional firms.
