Youth Violence: A Nationwide Challenge in Italy

"The problem of youth violence concerns all of Italy and the world and is a challenge that affects almost all Italian cities," said the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, commenting on the episode of violence not far from a nightclub that occurred in recent days and which involved minors. Manfredi reiterated the importance of "education, training, and also control" to address episodes of violence among very young people "often for trivial reasons and which - he concluded - transcend the respect for the rules of civil coexistence."
