On Friday morning, the officers of the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station, while patrolling the area, noticed a man asking for help while chasing another person down Acquaviva Street, outside a commercial establishment.
The police officers, promptly intervening, reached and stopped the latter, verifying that he had just entered an area adjacent to the commercial activity, reserved for the staff, and had stolen several boxes containing foodstuffs.
For these reasons, a 24-year-old Romanian with a police record, including specific ones, was arrested for aggravated theft, while the stolen goods were returned to the supermarket manager.
