A 50-year-old man from Naples was caught in Irpinia with 40 grams of hashish. The unusual behavior shown by the driver, stopped during a normal traffic control, led the carabinieri of the Aiello del Sabato station to deepen their checks.

During the search, the 50-year-old was found in possession of about half a brick of hashish, hidden in his jacket. A subsequent search carried out at his temporary residence in Avellino allowed to find, in the bedroom, a small amount of similar narcotic substance.

In light of the evidence emerged, the 50-year-old was reported in a state of freedom to the Prosecutor's Office of Avellino for possession for the purpose of drug dealing. The drug, with a total weight of about 40 grams, was seized.
