The carabinieri of the radiomobile section of Castello Di Cisterna and those of the tenancy of Casalnuovo have arrested for attempted aggravated murder Luigi Tufano, a 29-year-old already known to law enforcement. The military intervened on Via Grazia Deledda, near a school. 

Some citizens had reported an armed and clearly agitated man. When they arrived at the indicated place, there was no trace of the man. After a moment, however, the 29-year-old peeked out from an alley, pointed a gun at the military and fired four shots. 

Missed by the bullets, the carabinieri chased him on foot. The man fired three more shots during the escape, still aiming at the military who were tailing him. And shortly before being blocked, he threw away the weapon.  He carried a blank gun, on the sidewalk the gun used to shoot at the carabinieri. The last shot in the barrel. After a strong resistance, Tufano was handcuffed. He will be taken to jail.
