A month after the armed robbery that took place in a post office still full of users and near the city center of Torre del Greco, there is a breakthrough in the investigations: the carabinieri of the operational section of the local company have executed between Torre del Greco and Naples a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the GIP of the Torre Annunziata court at the request of the Procura oplontina, against three people accused of various aggravated robbery titles. The facts date back to last January 26: according to what was reconstructed by the investigators, two subjects had accessed the post office of via Monsignor Felice Romano still crowded with people and, armed with a pistol and with their faces disguised, they had managed to take away a total of 730 euros from the still active counters and a bag of one of the employees. The third accomplice had instead remained outside, with the functions of a stakeout, to ensure the success of the robbery and the subsequent escape of the two criminals. The military of the Arma managed to trace the identity of the subjects believed to be the authors of the robbery, acquiring the films of the surveillance cameras, through which it was possible to reconstruct the preparatory phases of the robbery, including the operations of disguise, which allowed to arrive at the identification of the three. After the usual formalities, the arrested were taken to the Neapolitan prison of Poggioreale at the disposal of the judicial authority.
