A tender for the supply of two electric school buses has been published on the website of the Municipality of Caserta, as part of the project for new sustainable school transport lines in the city, complementing all the initiatives that the Municipality has already undertaken for green mobility. The project, which involves the supply of two electric school buses, is funded by the Ministry of the Environment and will allow the city to have two vehicles over 12 meters long, which will run dedicated routes for home-to-school journeys for children attending kindergarten and primary school. "With this project," says Mayor Carlo Marino, "we are taking a further step towards the creation of an organic system of sustainable mobility. We have been committed for some time to a program that is determining a real green transformation of our city. Just think of the 18-kilometer cycle path we are concluding, the many charging stations for electric vehicles being installed, the charging stations for electric bikes and scooters, the ecological transition also concerning the buses of the local public transport, which will soon all be electric. To all this must be added the many scooters available and the various air quality monitoring stations that we will soon place in various districts of the city."
