The Municipality of Caserta will participate in a call for proposals by the Region that provides funding for projects involving the reuse of confiscated properties and actions for social innovation and social economy startups. The Administration intends to implement a project to enhance a confiscated property located on via Sant’Antonio. The aim is to involve third sector entities operating in the area in order to gather proposals useful for carrying out activities of significant social value in the property. In this regard, meetings have been organized: the first is scheduled for next Monday at 10 am in the council chamber. The call for proposals from the Region involves a co-design activity between municipal administrations and third sector entities. Specifically, funding is provided for ordinary maintenance, extraordinary maintenance, and building renovation of properties confiscated from crime, transferred to the local authorities' inalienable assets, in which to initiate actions for startups understood as the launch of a specific activity for social innovation and social economy projects. The resources will be used both for the requalification and furnishing of the property and for supporting management activities.
