In relation to the works carried out by the Autonomous Body Volturno, which involve the closure of a level crossing and at the same time an alternative road connection to connect Pino district to the former Appia State Road, the mayor Clemente Mastella and the councilor for Public Works Mario Pasquariello announce in a note that they have started a dialogue with Eav, aimed at solving the problems recorded in the last hours, after those complained about by the inhabitants of the area. In particular, following a telephone conversation between Mayor Mastella and Eav President De Gregorio and a subsequent dialogue between Councilor Pasquariello and the rup of the Autonomous Body Volturno, the administration has obtained the guarantee that the works in progress for the construction of the road axis connecting Contrada Pino-ex Statale Appia will be suspended.

The administration has indeed requested that these be carried out "with the utmost and rigorous respect for the project standards so that they can guarantee an efficient and easy connection between the Pino district and the Appia state road, in order to guarantee the fundamental right to mobility of the residents and in anticipation of the fact that the road axis will subsequently be acquired by the municipal heritage".
