Last night, officers from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, while patrolling the area, noticed a man in San Francesco square at Porta Capuana, who gave something to another person in exchange for money.

The police intervened immediately to stop the criminal act and, at that moment, the suspect, realizing he had been discovered, tried in vain to escape but was stopped and found in possession of 10 doses containing about 2 grams of cocaine, a piece of hashish weighing about 1.3 grams, and 185 euros, divided into various denominations.

Therefore, a 28-year-old man from Tunisia was arrested for illegal possession of drugs.
