With the Autostrada del Sole besieged for the Easter exodus, a simple rear-end collision is enough to throw traffic into disarray. Stop-and-go traffic and queues stretching for fifteen kilometers on the Ciociaria stretch of the highway. The collision, which involved three cars, did not result in any fatalities or serious injuries. However, it was enough to clog the lanes leading towards Naples. The accident occurred in the section that crosses the territory of Ceprano. Given the situation, Autostrade has advised those travelling south to exit at Frosinone and re-enter at Pontecorvo. On the scene, along with the highway patrol, firefighters and technicians from Autostrade per l'Italia are operating.
