Another piece to implement the accessibility and enjoyment of the ancient city of Pompeii. The Archaeological Park adds to the initiatives aimed at promoting the inclusion of all citizens in the cultural heritage the guides “Museum for everyone - Pompeii”, born from the collaboration with the team of Museum for everyone of the association L'abilità onlus in collaboration with Fondazione De Agostini. Thanks to these guides, written in Easy to read language and with the symbols of Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), the archaeological park becomes accessible to people with intellectual disabilities. The guides created for the Archaeological Park together with L'abilità onlus, will be presented on April 22 at 11:00 AM during an event that will see the participation of the General Director of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, Gabriel Zuchtriegel, the Manager for investment 1.2 accessibility for the General Directorate Museums, Maria Rosaria Lo Muzio, the Accessibility Manager of the Park, Arianna Spinosa, the Director of services of L'abilità onlus, Carlo Riva, Marcella Drago, General Secretary of the Fondazione De Agostini who supported the work of Museum for everyone in Pompeii, and the associations Il Tulipano Onlus, la Scintilla and the Dismet (Department of Translational Medical Sciences) of the Federico II with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or with intellectual disabilities who, as part of their therapeutic pathways, follow some projects aimed at occupational insertion through the enjoyment of cultural heritage at and in collaboration with the Park. Also present will be some classes from the Liceo Pascal of Pompeii, who actively participate in initiatives of inclusion and accessibility at the Pompeii site. After the presentation to the press, it will be possible to participate in a guided tour conducted by the 'Museum for everyone' team with facilitated guidance.
