At Cremona Fiere, the Derby Special Events for horses aged 4 to 8 years old took place, along with the finals of the Italian debutant championship. In the Non Pro levels of the five competitors from Campania, three managed to enter the top 15, thus qualifying for the final. There was satisfaction for the second place and the title of Reserve Champion Level 1 by Marco Mastroianni on Margarita Spark with a score of 213.5, and the 3rd place level 3 and 5th place level 4 by Fabio De Iulio on RS Cronos Jac with a score of 216.5, though he was unlucky with Gunnaroostyah due to a delay in changing gallop.

Only 2 of the 6 Campania pairs registered in the Derby Open accessed the highly anticipated Saturday evening Final. The stands were packed and the atmosphere was like that of a stadium, welcoming the 56 competitors, with a very high technical level. At the end of the first section, among the finalists for levels 1,2 and 3, Vittorio De Iulio on MR Magic Chex, known for his many titles, but in his first year as a professional, scored an excellent 218, which earned him third place in level 2 and 9th in level 3. Fifth to start in the second section, reserved for finalists of levels 3 and 4, Luca Piccolo on Spooknic Smokin, creating a beautiful pattern and gaining many positive credits from the 5 judges, finished their performance with a super score of 222.5, which brought them to the third step of the podium in level 3, the eighth position in level 4, and the ninth overall score.
